With a sense for design
Design is a core competence at Caparol. Here, we offer our customers and partners an unequalled, multifaceted range of products, services and capabilities. And, of course, we promote good design, for example, in a lively network with other experts. Since 2012 Caparol has been a foundation member in the German Design Council and a promoting member of the "German Designer Club".
Working together for design with added value
The German Design Council was founded in 1953 through a decision in the German parliament. It advises industry in all questions of design and is one of the internationally leading competence centres for design. Over 180 design-orientated German companies with approx. 1.8 million workers are organised here – co-operating for innovative design which creates cultural and economic values.
Promotion and interchange are also the principal activities at the German Designer Club (DDC). The DDC is an initiative which honours "good things" – good design, good designers and people who stand up for good design. In the midst of all this, the "Good Design" competition is held annually which awards prizes to newcomers and renowned designers for their widely varied work. The engagement of the DDC should show that design does not just have an artistic value, it also increases values and is an indispensable, driving factor of economic success.

With each co-operating activity Caparol obtains new, exciting opportunities of sharing expert knowledge and of supporting ambitious planners and designers.
