Storing and processing personal information
Your information is stored on specially protected servers. These are protected using technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of your data by unauthorised persons. Your data can only be accessed by a few authorised persons. They are responsible for the technical, commercial or editorial support of the servers. Despite regular checks, complete protection against all dangers is not possible.
The transmission of our web pages and your entries on our web pages via the internet is in principal unencrypted. It is therefore not excluded that third parties can view and/or access the transmitted data. We recommend that you consider this aspect when deciding whether and which data you submit to us over the Internet.
Your personal data is encrypted and transmitted over the Internet. We use SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer) for data transmission.

Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if you yourself have consented thereto or to the extent that we are entitled or obligated to do so in accordance with statutory requirements and/or official or court orders. Such instances can in particular include the provision of information for purposes of law enforcement, emergency response or for the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Information about your computer
Each time you access our online service, we collect the following information about your computer, independent of your registration: the IP address of your computer, the request of your browser and the time of this request. In addition, the status and the amount of data transferred are recorded as part of this request. We also collect product and version information about the browser used and the operating system of the computer. We keep track of the website from which access was made to the online service. The IP address of your computer is stored only for the time of use of the online service and then deleted or anonymised in truncated form. The remaining data is stored for a limited period of time.
We use this data for the operation of the online service, in particular to detect and eliminate errors, to determine the utilisation of the online service and to make adjustments or improvements.
As is the case on many websites, cookies are used for our online service. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and store certain settings and data via your browser for exchange with the online service from us. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie file was sent, as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identifier.
Cookies enable us to recognise the computer and to make any default settings immediately available. Cookies help us to improve the online service and offer you a better and more personalised service. The cookies we use are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted after the end of the browser session.
Most browsers are initially set to automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storing of cookies or adjust your browser so that it notifies you when cookies are sent. Please note that you may be limited or unable to use our online service at all if you disable the storing of cookies.
We use Google Analytics for statistical analysis. Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94034, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files stored in your computer that enable analysis of the way users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of the website will generally be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google within the member states of the European Union or other states party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. In exceptional cases only, the complete IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on the activities of the website and to provide further services relating to the use of the website and the internet usage regarding the operator of the website. The IP address that your browser transmits within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google. You can prevent the storing of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser software; however, we must point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of this website. In addition, you can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as the processing of this data by Google in future by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
For more information please visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de or http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (General information on Google Analytics and data protection). We must point out that on our Google Analytics websites the code “anonymizeIp ();” was extended to anonymise the IP addresses, whereby the last octet is deleted. [sic]
We use the “Google AdWords” online advertising program and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). A cookie will be set if you come to our website through a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages within our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and ourselves can recognise that you have clicked the advert and have been directed to that page. Each AdWords advertiser receives a different cookie, i.e., cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an Ad words advertiser. The information obtained by the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for the Ad words advertisers who have opted for Conversion Tracking. The advertisers can find out the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to the page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that permits personal identification of the users. A connection between your personal data and your usage data is therefore not possible. If you want to disable the cookies for conversion tracking, you can set your browser to block cookies from the following domain: “googleadservices.com”
You can prevent the storage of cookies. You can prevent data collection, processing and storage at any time with future effect by making an appropriate setting in your browser software or by downloading and installing the available browser plug-in under the item Double-click Deactivation Extension using the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all features of our website to their full extent.
For the purposes of marketing and of optimisation, the products and services of wiredminds GmbH, Stuttgart, (www.wiredminds.de), Lindenspürstraße 32, 70176 Stuttgart are used on this website. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The data collected, which may include personal data, is transmitted to wireminds or collected directly by wireminds. The data obtained will not be used to personally identify you, without your express permission. In addition, the data will not be merged with personal data about the carrier of the pseudonym. Any IP addresses shall be anonymised immediately after collection by deleting the last number block. The collection, processing and storage of data may be objected to at any time with future effect at the following link: https://wm.wiredminds.de/track/cookie_mgr.php?mode=dont_track_ask&websitesel=83c0a2992f900f0f&lang=de
Social Media Channels
In our online service you will find links to the social networks Facebook, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest, the careers network Xing, the video portal YouTube and the short message service Twitter. The links are indicated by the respective logo of the provider.
Integration of the Facebook Plug-in
Our website uses the so-called Social Plug-ins (“Plug-ins”) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The Plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo or the phrase “Facebook Social Plug-in”. You can find an overview of Facebook Plug-ins and what they look like here: developers.facebook.com/plugins
An immediate integration of the Plug-in does not take place in our online service, this must instead be explicitly activated by you. If you use our online service, data from Facebook will neither be collected nor processed or stored. Only if you activate the Plug-in integrated in our online service, will a direct connection with the Facebook servers be established for the first time. Activation is done by clicking on the Plug-in. Only then can the Plug-in be used, for example, the “Like” button can be clicked on.
By activating the Plug-in, Facebook receives the information that you have accessed our online service with your browser, even if you are currently not logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can link the visit directly to your Facebook account. If you interact with the Plug-ins, for example by clicking on the “Like” button or by entering a comment, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on Facebook and shown to your Facebook friends.
Facebook can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and the appropriate design of the Facebook pages. To that end, interest and relationship profiles are created by Facebook, e. g., to evaluate your use of our online service in relation to the advertisements displayed on Facebook, to inform other Facebook users about your activities in our online service and to provide other services related to the use of Facebook.
If you do not want Facebook to receive any data from you, you do not have to do anything, as data transfer takes place only after the first click on the Plug-in and the consent to the use of data. If consent has been given to data collection, processing and storage, this can be objected to at any time with future effect by reopening the website.
Please see Facebook’s privacy policies for the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy: www.facebook.com/policy.php.
Use of YouTube
Our website uses Plug-ins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube Plug-in, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. Here the YouTube server is informed about which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to directly associate your surfing habits with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account and deleting the YouTube cookies.
When you sign up for our newsletter, your email address will be used for promotional purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You will receive regular information by email on current topics as well as emails for special occasions, for example, special promotions. The emails can be personalised and individualised based on our information about you.
If you have not given us your consent in writing, we will use the so-called double-opt-in procedure for registering for our newsletter, i.e., we will only send you a newsletter by email if you have previously expressly confirmed this to us, that we should activate the newsletter dispatch. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to please confirm that you wish to receive our newsletter by clicking on a link included in this email.
Should you not wish to receive any more newsletters from us, you can object to this at any time without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs in accordance with the basic tariffs. Simply use the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter or send a message to us or our data protection officer.
Should you wish to use the contact form in our online service, personal data such as name and email address are requested. We collect and use the data transmitted via the contact form exclusively for the purpose of being able to answer your enquiry or your request.
After the matter has been processed by us, the data is firstly stored in the event of any queries. Deletion of the data can be requested at any time, otherwise the deletion takes place after fully resolving the matter.
Links to other Websites
Our website contains links to other websites. These links are usually marked as such. We have no influence on the extent to which the linked websites comply with the applicable data protection regulations. We therefore recommend that you also inform yourself about the respective privacy policies on the other websites.
Rights of data subjects
You are entitled to information about the data we have stored about you, as well as the right to correct, block, or delete this data as necessary. The contact person for this is our data protection officer.
Likewise, you may at any time freely revoke any consent you have already given, with effect for the future. The contact person for this is our data protection officer.
