Substrate Preparation
Derust iron and steel surfaces according to industry standard (metallic bright).
Remove contaminations/soiling, oils, fats/greases and all other materials that may prevent good adhesion.
Method of Application
Capalac Rostschutzgrund can be applied with brush, roller or spraying equipment. Stir well before use. Thin with synthetic resin thinner, if necessary.

Application Conditions
Lower Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:
+5 °C for product, substrate and ambient air. Relative humidity must not exceed 80 %.

Lower temperatures, higher humidity and thick film application extend the drying time.
Tool Cleaning
Immediately after use with solvent naphta/white spirit or suitable synthetic resin thinner.

Flammable liquid and vapor. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. In case of fire: Use dry sand, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam to extinguish. Store locked up.Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains: Naphtha (petroleum), hydrotreated heavy; Low boiling point ydrogen treated naphtha. Warning! Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist. Contains neodecanoic acid, cobalt salt. May produce an allergic reaction.Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures. In Germany: Only completely emptied clean cans/containers should be given for recycling. Deliver packaging with residues of liquid material to a collecting/collection point for old enamels.

of this product (category A/i): max. 500 g/l (2010). This product contains max. 500 g/l VOC.
Unthinned product (delivered viscosity): max. 370 g/l VOC.
