Field of Application
White enamel/top-coat lacquer for high-quality coatings on wood, metals and unplasticized (rigid) PVC, exteriors and interiors. Do not use on heating systems.Due to a typical odour of alkyd resin varnishes (alkyd enamels), it is advisable to use Capacryl PU-Gloss for coatings on large, seamless interior surfaces instead.
Material Properties
- Non-aromatic solvent
- High degree of whiteness
- High resistance to yellowing
- Brilliant gloss
- Elegant and easy application
- High stability (low sagging)
- High covering power on edges
- Excellent opacity (hiding/covering power)
- High impact strength and shock resistance
- Long open time
- Resistant to common household cleaning agents (detergents) and short-term resistance against weak acids and alkalis
- High weather resistance and lightfastness
- Fast-drying
- Superior flow
Material Base / Vehicle
Polyurethane alkyd resin, solvent-based, free of aromatic hydrocarbons.Packaging/Package Size

Colours
White (Weiß), Off-White (Altweiß)
Note: A material typical yellowing effect may occur on the surface of white/off-white and light-coloured alkyd enamels (caused by low UV radiation, heat or chemical influences due to e.g. ammonia vapour from detergents, adhesives, paint or sealing compounds). This yellowing is no product defect and cannot be objected.
Colour Resistance according to BFS Data Sheet No. 26:
Binder: Class B
Pigmentation: Group 1
Gloss Level
High gloss

Suitable Substrates
Primed and pre-coated wood, iron, steel, zinc/galvanised substrates, aluminium (must not be anodised), and unplasticized/rigid PVC. The substrate must be clean, sound/stable, dry, and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion.Substrate Preparation
Roughen/sand the primed surface and clean thoroughly.Method of Application
The product is ready-to-use and can be applied by enamel brush or roller.Guidelines for Spray Application:
