Substrate Preparation

All surfaces must be load bearing, even, clean, dry and free of all residues that could prevent a good adhesion.
Mechanical cleaning of damaged areas and defects. Moisten surface slightly.

Preparation of Material

Pour 0.5 kg of the pouder into about 0.2 l of tap water while mixing by hand or with slow-turning electric paddle to achieve a lump-free workable consistency. Take care  not to mix more material than can be processed within 10 minutes.

Consumption

about 0.8 g / cm³
depending on the object-related defects. Best established by trials on site.

Application Conditions

Processing temperature: > +5 °C during processing and curing for mortar, substrate and ambient air. Do not use in direct sunlight. Protect from too fast drying by addepted measures against too rapid dehydration.

Drying/Drying Time

Small sealing plugs like filled dowel holes can be sanded after about 2-3 hours, larger breakouts after about 1 day.
The drying depends on the temperature, humidity and depth of the breakout point.
Changed boundary conditions can shorten or extend drying.

Tool Cleaning

Immediately after use with water.

Installation

Bring freshly prepared filler into the repair points using an adapted tool and aim for a slight bead. A multi-layer fresh-in-fresh application is possible up to a layer thickness of 40 mm. The width of the breakout site should not exceed 15 cm.

For breakout points larger than 5x5 cm: Prevent cracks in the flank area of the repair site by reworking the edges to ensure sufficient adhesion of the repair mortar to the profile.

Solidified but not yet cured material can already be reprofiled mechanically. Do not stir-up or process solidified material.

After initial curing sand the surface manually or by machine with sandpaper
(grain size ≥ P120) flat to the adjacent profile surfaces. A vibrating triangular sander is convenient.

Application limits
Minimum thickness: 1 mm
Maximum thickness as single layer: 20mm
Maximum thickness of a double-layer: 40 mm

Further processing

Depending on environmental temperature, RH and the total quantity of the repair mortar, the profile can be coated at the earliest after approx. 3 days with suitable facade paint, eg. For example, Sylitol®, AmphiSilan or ThermoSan facade paint can be painted over. For the technical coating respect the current processing guidelines for the Capapor decorative and facade profiles.
