For sealing and waterproofing of joints between Capatect ETICS Systems and adjacent components. Especially suitable for waterproofing between the screw-hole ledge of the windowsill and the window frame.Material Properties

Substrates

Material requirements:
These depend on the local conditions at the installation site. Determine the exact material requirements for the construction project.
Application Conditions
Optimum processing temperatures are between +8 °C to +20 °C. The expansion of the compressed foam is faster at higher temperatures and slower at lower temperatures.
Installation
Measure the required length of the joint sealing tape precisely.
When cutting the tape to length, add at least 2 cm per metre of measured length.
Cut the joint sealing tape straight and stick it on the back of the window sill's screw-on bridge. In doing so, lead it about 5 cm around the corners of the board profile.
The tape begins to expand as soon as the compression pressure is released.
It is important to ensure that a continuous sealing layer is created. The two joint sealing tape ends are placed close together in the joint area.
Note:
Put a weight on remaining rolls in open boxes to prevent the rolls from expanding sidewards (telescoping). If necessary, joint sealing tape clips can help.
