Field of Application
Special interior paint for quick and environmentally compatible renovation of nicotine stained walls an ceilings. IsoDeck has a shut-off effect against nicotine discolouration, that would lead to visible stains when common water-dilutable interior paint is used.IsoDeck is solvent-free and fast-drying, hence most suitable for living rooms, offices, restaurants, hotels etc., since no long waiting times must be respected and no unpleasant odour occurs.
Ideal problem solvers: If used in combination with primer Caparol AquaSperrgrund, even problematic jobs (e.g. renovation of surfaces stained with nicotine and/or dried water, soot or fat/grease), can be handled in an environmentally compatible way.

White.IsoDeck can be tinted to a max. of 10 % with CaparolColor or AmphiColor® (AVA) colourants.
If more than one bucket is manually tinted, all product must be thoroughly mixed before use to avoid colour differences.

Suitable Substrates
The substrate must be sound/stable, dry, clean, and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. In Germany: Follow VOB, part C, DIN 18363, section 3.Wash off nicotine, soot and fat/grease stains with tap water, adding a fat-dissolving household cleaning agent, and allow to dry well. Clean dried-up water stains by dry brushing-off.
Method of Application
Apply with paint brush, paint roller or suitable paint spraying equipment.Airless application:
Spay angle: 50° Nozzle size: 0.021" - 0.025" Spray pressure: 150 - 180 bar
Clean tools/equipment immediately after use with water.
Surface Coating System
Surfaces with normal nicotine contamination:One even, liberally applied coat of IsoDeck, diluted to a max. of 5 % with tap (potable) water.
On surfaces with a high colour contrast: One previously applied priming coat of IsoDeck, diluted with 5-10 % of tap water.
Prime highly porous, sanding, highly absorbent substrates with OptiGrund or CapaSol.
Prime unevenly absorbent surfaces with Caparol AquaSperrgrund or Caparol-Haftgrund.
Surfaces highly stained with nicotine and/or water, soot and fat/grease:
Prime with Caparol AquaSperrgrund, undiluted. Allow to dry well (min. 12 hours), then apply one or two coats of IsoDeck, diluted to a max. of 5 % with tap water.
Consumption
Caparol AquaSperrgrund approx. 110 ml/m2 and IsoDeck approx. 125 ml/m2 per coat on smooth surfaces. On roughly textured substrates correspondingly more.Application Conditions
Lower Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:
+5 °C for product, substrate and ambient air.
Drying/Drying Time
At +20 °C and 65 % relative humidity Caparol AquaSperrgrund is recoatable after approx. 12 hours and IsoDeck after 4–6 hours. Lower temperatures and higher humidity extend the drying time.Tool Cleaning
Clean tools imediately after work with tap water.
Note
For extremely contaminated or stained surfaces or rooms that must be renovated and completed within one day, we recommend the highly covering and low odour paint Dupa-inn for quick renovation. Follow Technical Information No. 385.Stir well and sieve the paint for airless application.
Touching up surfaces is depending on many parameters and may be visible after drying.

The product is certified with German TÜV (Technical Supervisory Association) quality mark "pollutant-tested / supervised manufacturing process". Keep out of reach from children. Ensure good ventilation during use and drying. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product. In case of contact with eyes or skin, immediately and thoroughlyrinse with water. Do not allow product to enter drains, waterways or soil. Clean utensils immediately after use with soap and water. Do not breathe spray dust.

Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.In Germany: Only completely empty containers should be handed in for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.
