Suitable Substrates

Primed wood, metals and existing non-alkaline plasters with sufficient strength. On wooden surfaces outdoors do only smoothen to achieve pore-filling or apply for repairs of small damaged spots. 
In Germany: Smoothening of plain surfaces made of wooden components outdoors is not permitted, as per BFS Data Sheet No. 18.
Smoothen only on small scale spots of metal surfaces - outdoors.
Apply only on interior plaster surfaces.

Method of Application

Capalac LackSpachtel can be applied repeatedly, wet-on-wet in multiple layers per day, by using a suitable squeegee. The maximum wet-layer thickness per working day should not exceed 700 µm. For patch-filling always one priming coat is necessary before applying the final coat (finish varnishing).

Surface Coating System

Capalac LackSpachtel can be coated with synthetic lacquers and dispersion/emulsion enamels of the Caparol Group of Companies.

Application Conditions

Working/Processing Temperatures:
Min. 15 °C and max. 30 °C for product, ambient air and substrate.

Drying/Drying Time

At 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity recoatable after o/n drying (wet-layer thickness of max. 700 µm per working day).

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid release to the environment.
IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Contains: acetone oxime. May produce an allergic reaction.

Disposal

Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.
In Germany: Only completely empty containers (tubes/cans) should be handed in for recycling. Contaminated packaging: Dispose of contents/container to an approved incineration plant.

EU limit value for the VOC content

Germany: This product is not subject to the VOC limit values.
