Packaging/Package Size
Bucket 25 kgColours
White and coloured.
Factory colouring is possible. Suitable for machine colouring with ColorExpress dosing systems.
Other special colours with a lightness value > 20 on request.
Tinting of small quantities is possible by adding CaparolColor (formerly Alpinacolor) or Amphibolin solid and tinting colours. Never add more than 2 % colour, otherwise the consistency will become too thin.
The material must be checked for colour accuracy before application. Colour complaints can no longer be accepted after processing.
On contiguous surfaces, only use material from the same charge or mix material from different charges beforehand.

Note
Specified fixed values represent average values that may vary slightly from delivery to delivery due to the use of natural raw materials. The "allgemeine bauaufsichtliche Zulassung" (general building authority approval) / "allgemeine Bauartengenehmigung" (general type approval) of the ETICS, VHF or the products and the Technical Informations of the products must be observed.
Suitable Substrates
- Mineral and organically bound renders
- Mineral and organically bound substrates in ETICS
Substrate Preparation
Mask window sills and add-on parts. Carefully cover glass, ceramics, clinker, natural stone, painted, glazed and anodised surfaces as well as surfaces to be protected.
The substrate must be stable, even, clean, dry, frost-free and free of adhesion-reducing residues. If necessary, the load-bearing capacity can be ensured by using suitable primers.
Substrates, especially undercoat renders, must be evenly dried to avoid colour deviations in the finishing render.
Before applying the decorative render, we recommend priming with Putzgrund 610, coloured if necessary, to improve the application and accelerate the film formation of the finishing render, especially on fresh mineral base coats.
Thin-layer finishing render with grain sizes < 3 mm may require special measures, e.g. priming, levelling filler, painting.
Preparation of Material
Ready to use.Adjustable to working consistency with max. 2 % water.
Stir the contents of the container thoroughly with a slow-speed agitator.
Method of Application
1) Fine levelling to create the substrate evenness:
Levelling the substrate with Capatect AmphiSilan Fassadenputz FEIN. Avoid trowel marks or smooth them out. The substrate must be levelled absolutely evenly.
2) Apply the finishing render:
After sufficient consolidation of the fine levelling compound, apply Capatect AmphiSilan Fassadenputz FEIN with a stainless steel trowel to layer thickness. Smooth evenly with a plastic trowel or a plastic rubbing board.
Alternatively, in cases where fine levelling is not required to level the substrate, a single-layer application can also be used.
The choice of tool influences the roughness profile of the surface, so always work with the same texture discs.
Finish contiguous surfaces without interruption to avoid lapping in the textured layer.
Finish without interruption. Divide large facades into clauses, apply and texture continuously wet-on-wet.
Application Conditions
During the application and in the drying phase, the ambient and substrate temperatures must not be below +5 °C and above +30 °C.
Do not apply in direct sunlight, strong wind, fog or high humidity. In this context, we refer to the leaflet "Verputzen, Wärmedämmen, Spachteln, Beschichten bei hohen und tiefen Temperaturen" (Rendering, Thermal Insulation, Filling, Coating at High and Low Temperatures) from the Bundesverband Ausbau und Fassade (Federal Association for Finishing and Facades).
In unfavourable weather conditions, suitable measures must be taken to protect the treated façade surfaces.
Drying/Drying Time
Primer and intermediate coats must be dry before further application.
The waiting time for recoating depends, among other things, on the weather conditions and the layer thickness. The specifications refer to ambient temperatures of 20 °C and 60 % relative humidity and serve as a guide.
The drying or curing of the material takes place through chemical-physical processes and the release of the water it contains, i.e. its evaporation. Cool and humid environments delay these processes.
- Surface dry after approx. 24 h
- Completely dry, loadable and paintable after approx. 48 hours
Tool Cleaning
Rinse with water immediately after use in accordance with legal regulations.Coating
The risk of attack by micro-organisms can be significantly reduced by using a facade paint that has been treated with a film protection agent. If the light reflectance value is below 20, after the render has dried, coat the render in the ETICS with a solar-reflecting facade paint (CoolProtect, TSR value ≥ 25) in at least two layers, depending on requirements. On solid wall structures, special measures are to be taken for LRV < 30, e.g. an additional reinforced base coat with full-surface fabric inlay on the lightweight base coat; for LRV < 20, additionally a solar-reflecting facade paint with TSR ≥ 25.
Note the limits of feasibility in the respective system.
Example for Machine Equipment
- Feed pump e.g. m-tec P 25 V
Delivery hoses:
Start hoses, inner Ø 35 mm; end hose, inner Ø 25 mm
Conveying distances:
Maximum delivery distance approx. 30 m; delivery head 30 m
(depending on temperature and device)
Sprayer:
Nozzle Ø 6 mm
Pre-flush delivery hoses with lime slurry or paste before regular operation.
If work is interrupted, do not leave the delivery hose in direct sunlight, cover the material container with foil, for example, and keep the gun and nozzle under water. Stand for max. 30 min. until further processing, otherwise the material in the hose may harden.
Before a work break, the material container in the feed pump of the ‘open system’ (continuous mixer + feed pump) must be emptied as far as possible to prevent material tunnelling when restarting. If this is not observed, the material may have to be made ‘passable’ before the machine is started up (with the machine switched off). Further information on this can be found in the Caparol "Handbuch der Spritztechnologie" (Spray Technology Manual).
The specifications of the machine manufacturer must be observed.
Note
This product is equipped with special active substances against fungal and algae growth. The depot of active substances offers long-lasting, temporary protection, the duration of which depends on the object conditions, e.g. the moisture load, the location, the architectural design, etc.. It is therefore not possible to permanently prevent fungal and algae growth. The risk of infestation by microorganisms can be significantly reduced by applying a facade paint with film protection.Special Risks (Hazard Note) / Safety Advice (Status as at Date of Publication)
