Substrate Preparation
Leading edges of insulation boards must be cut accurately. The surface must be clean, dry, firm/solid, sound and free from all material that may prevent good adhesion.
Method of Application
Place the Capatect-Gewebe-Eckschutz (edge protecting profiles) along the edges fully embeded (not fixed by spots) into the reinforcement mortar. Overlap fabric in bar joints for 10 cm. Do not double inner side backing (can easy be cut).
For reinforcing of reveals cut glas fabric leg into reveals depth (3 leg width available; see above)
Place the over-all reinforcing fabric Capatect-Gewebe 650/110 with an overlapping of 10 cm to the Capatect-Gewebe-Eckschutz at both sides. Do not fold it arround the edge.
