Suitable Substrates
Dimensionally unstable wooden component parts like e.g. timber framework, facings (panelling/cladding), fences, etc.Substrate Preparation
Remove all defective wood and clean the sides of cracks by mechanical means, then prime the crack sides with Histolith® Halböl (semi-oil).Method of Application
Application:Stir up well before use. Fill cracks or cavities generously, flush with the surface, using a small scraper or hand operated cartridge caulking gun. Carefully remove all excess wood filler by scraper to achieve an even/flush surface. Insert an adequate dry piece of wood additionally into filled cracks and openings with a width exceeding 1 cm.
Surface Coating System
Recommendation for Applying Subsequent Coats:Histolith® Sanopas-Holzrisspaste is coatable with Histolith® Leinölfarbe (linseed oil paint) or Capadur Color Wetterschutzfarbe. Prime with Capalac GrundierWeiß before applying paints in bright colour shades.

Drying/Drying Time
At +20 °C and 65 % relative humidity (RH) recoatable after 3 days, at the earliest.Tool Cleaning
Clean tools/equipment immediately after use with white spirit.Note
Do not use the crack filler for surface treatment (surfacing). For through drying of product a period of> 4 weeks is necessary. In the meantime the surface has to be protected against mechanical stress/damages.
Please Note:
Cloths and wipes soiled with the product are subject to risk of self-ignition, due to content of linseed oil. They should therefore always be kept in tightly closed metal containers or outspread in the open air in order to dry.

Keep out of the reach of children. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Avoid release to the environment.Further information: See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.In Germany: Only completely emptied clean containers/cartridges should be given for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.
