This is what you should note

The A and O of a well-functioning construction site is the preparation. To make sure that the delivery will take place without any problems, we have compiled some of the most important requirements for you here.

Free access to the environmental zone

Many German cities have designated environmental zones which can only be accessed with specific environment stickers or with a special permit. For this purpose, we require information from you in advance whether the unloading location is in an environmental zone; and, if yes, which sticker is required to access the site.

Overview data of the delivery truck

All truck types with a tarpaulin comply with the superstructure classification of the EU Norm 12642 (XL-certified).

*With the truck-mounted forklift, the vehicle length is extended by 1.5 metres.

Delivery, minimum requirements

To ensure trouble-free delivery, the transport routes to the construction site must have a minimum clearance width of 3.5 metres as well as a clearance height of at least 4.20 metres. The grounds up to the point of unloading must be level, firm and suitable to accommodate heavy vehicles.

Unloading with a system

Our trucks are equipped with lifting platforms and must be unloaded with forklift trucks. Depending on the requirements, we can also deploy an LKW equipped with a mountred forklift truck or a crane truck. When crane trucks are deployed, the lateral space requirement increases by 3 metres due to the stabilisers.

When a crane truck is used for delivery,
the goods are placed
down at an exact spot.

Sufficient space for manoeuvring – exemplary illustration

In the access way to the unloading location, there must be enough space for the transport vehicle to turn and manoeuvre. The spatial needs are often underestimated due to the presence of curves. In our illustration, we show you exemplary sizes and dimensions that a jumbo trailer requires.

Unloading zone and manoeuvring distance

In order to ensure that the delivery vehicles can be unloaded quickly and without interference, a sufficiently sized action radius is required. For the entire length of the truck, there should therefore be at least 5 meters of manoeuvring space for the forklift.
