Pull-off strength 28 d (adhesive tensile strength) > 1.3 N/mm2
Suitable Substrates
Normal, heavy and light-weight concrete and surfaces reprofiled with Disbocret®-repair mortars. The average adhesive tensile strength of the substrate must be ≥1.0 N/mm2, the lowest individual value being 0.5 N/mm2.Substrate Preparation
Treat reinforcing steel rods with anticorrosive layer of Disbocret® 502 Protec plus, in accordance with the given instructions. Reprofile deeper defects (> 5 mm) with a Disbocret® repair mortar. The concrete must be sound, clean and free from loose material that may prevent good adhesion. Other separating substances (e.g. existing paint coats, oils, fats/greases, release agents, surface laitance) must be removed by suitable method. Brittle concrete or reinforced concrete containing corrosive substances, e.g. chlorides, must also be thoroughly removed. Substrates must be pre-wetted. Care must however be taken that most of the moisture has been absorbed before the fine filler is applied (matt surface aspect).Preparation of Material
The contents of a 25 kg bag of Disbocret® 505 is gradually mixed into 6.25-6.75 l of tap water and agitated with a suitable low-speed electrical paddle (max. 400 rpm) until the mixture is free of lumps. Do not mix for less than 3 minutes. Leave to stand for approx. 2 minutes and mix again.Mixing Ratio

Method of Application
Fill porous substrates with a small amount of material, applying crosswise. Apply the fine filler with suitable tools, e.g. smoothing / plastering trowel, masons / steel float or scraper, blending the material (compressing) well onto the substrate. The material can also be wet-spray applied by suitable spraying equipment (e.g. PFT N2V). Quick drying, caused by sunlight, high temperatures and draught (draft) must be prevented by suitable protective measures or after-treatment.
To prevent quick curing, CapaSol LF Concentrate, diluted with tap water in 1:2 ratio, may be applied. Waiting time: Approx. 1–3 hours, depending on weather conditions.
Layer Thickness
Min. 1 mm, max. 5 mm.A higher thickness can be achieved by applying in layers.
Consumption
Dry mortar approx. 1.6 kg/m2/mmWorkability
Approx. 30 minutes at 20 °C.Application Conditions
Material, substrate and ambient air not below
5 °C or above 30 °C
Drying/Drying Time
At 20 °C, before the application of any protective coating, the following minimum waiting times must be observed: Disbocret® 515 Betonfarbe (concrete paint) 6 hours, Disbocret® 518 Flex-Finish 12 hours. Other coating materials should be applied after one day, at the earliest.Tool Cleaning
Clean tools immediately after use with water.German Certificates

Special Risks (Hazard Note) / Safety Advice (Status as at Date of Publication)
Irritating to skin. Risk of serious damage to eyes.Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. In case of swallowing seek medical advice immediately and show the packaging or label.
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be paid to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures. In Germany: Only completely emptied bags and containers should be given for recycling. Dispose hardened material residues mixed construction and demolition site waste.Giscode

CE Labelling
EN 1504-3CE labelling is based on EN 1504-3 "Products and systems for protection and repair of concrete load bearing structures – Part 3: Statically and not statically relevant repair”, defining the requirements for the repair products.
Products matching the above mentioned standards are to be labelled with the CE mark. Additional engineer standards are effective for the use in Germany in structural safety relevant areas. Conformity is documented by the Ü sign (Überwachung = supervision) on the container. Established by documented evidence of conformity 2+ with controls and tests on the part of the manufacturer and notified bodys.
