Suitable Substrates
Freshly applied, smooth floor coatings based on epoxy or polyurethane resin. If necessary, dearate with a spiked roller before sprinkling with coloured chips. The formation of skin must not have started when bringing in the chips, otherwise no sufficient inclusion is possible. Suitable for all Caparol floor coatings. ColorChips must not be applied in ESD-, Antistatic- or WHG-(german water protection act) systems.
Mixing Ratio
All colors can be mixed in any desired mixing ratio.
Method of Application
Apply ColorChips with a hopper gun (nozzle size: 10mm) with approx. 2 bar intermittently on the surface. Process the surface uniformly by circular movement.
In case of manual appliance, throw small amounts up and let them fall into the area. Avoid material accumulation in order to achieve a uniform appearance.
Consumption
For an open decorative image use 20-40 g/m2. Depending on the shade, higher consumption can lead to an uneven surface appearance and to a superposition of ColorChips.
Waiting Time
After an adequate waiting period seal the worked interior surface with Disbopur 458 PU-AquaSiegel or with Disboxid 422 E.MI ClearCoat according to technical information. Use Disbothan 446 PU-Klarschicht for the exteriors.

Do not allow into drains, water courses or soils.
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be paid to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures. In Germany: Only completely emptied packaging should be given for recycling. Dispose remnants as mixed construction and demolition site waste.Further Details
