Suitable Substrates
Wood, derived timber products, iron, steel, zinc (galvanised surfaces), aluminium, copper, rigid/unplasticised PVC, mineral substrates as e.g. render, concrete, fibre-cement and stable existing coatings. Do not apply on anodised aluminium. The substrate must be clean, solid, sound/stable, dry and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. Wood moisture content (WMC) must not exceed 12 % for softwood and 15 % for hardwood, on an average.Substrate Preparation
Wooden PartsSand the surface in fibre direction, clean thoroughly, remove seeping wood contents, e.g. wood resin/rosin and resin galls, cut sharp edges. Germany: See BFS-Merkblatt (Data/Fact) Sheet No. 18.
Iron, Steel
Clean surfaces thoroughly. In particular remove all residues of oil and fat/grease using e.g. cellulose/nitro-thinner. Remove rust and scales by suitable means according to industry standard (metallic bright), e.g. by sanding/grinding or blasting. Then apply the rust-inhibiting primer (783) without delay onto the dry substrate.
Zinc (Galvanised Steel), Unplasticised/Rigid PVC
Wash with light ammonia solution using sanding pad as per BFS-Merkblatt (Data/Fact Sheet) Nos. 5 and 22.
Aluminium, Copper:
Clean with Gescha Multi-Star or destined detergent using sanding pad as per BFS-Merkblatt (Data/Fact Sheet) No. 6.
Existing Coats of Paint:
Roughen/sand the surface of existing coats slightly and/or treat with alkali. Remove unstable coats. Always check for soundness and compatibility.
Method of Application
Application:Shake the spray/aerosol can well before use (at least for 1 minute). The inside metal ball must be audible. For spraying observe a distance of 20 cm - 30 cm to the substrate. Spray evenly thin cross coats on the surface. Angled/tricky surfaces: First of all spray a fine mist coat, then allow to dry for approx. 5 minutes and complete the spraying operation.

Always check substrates and coatings for compatibility.
Surface Coating System (Clear Coat):
Exterior: 2-3 coats of Capalac Disboklar 782 (no wood protection and protection against UV rays)
Interior: 1-2 coats of Capalac Disboklar 782
Sealing: On existing enamel coatings 1-2 coats of Capalac Disboklar 782 (for interior and exterior use). Always check existing coatings/substrates for compatibility.
Consumption
Guide value: Approx. 1.2 m2 per spray/aerosol can.Consumption may vary significantly, depending on substrate and component conditions.
Application Conditions
Temperature for Ambient Air and Substrate:Min. +5 °C.
Material temperature: +18 °C to +22 °C.
Relative humidity must not exceed 80 %.
Drying/Drying Time
At 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity. | dust dry | rainproof | recoatable |

Upturn the can’s base vertically after use and press on the valve shortly until no material escapes.Lift-off blocked sprayheads and clean with a needle. Attach the protective cap again.
Special Risks (Hazard Note) / Safety Advice (Status as at Date of Publication)
Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurised container: May burst if heated. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not breathe vapours/ spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Store locked up. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/ 122 °F. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Contains: acetone, n-butyl acetate, 2-methoxy-1-methylethyl acetate.Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.Germany: Dispose spray/aerosol cans with residues of product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels.
EU limit value for the VOC content
