White
Special tints available via ColorExpress tinting machine system according to colour guides CaparolColor, Caparol 3D System and Caparol A1. Further shades with luminosity > 20 on request. Luminosity < 20 is unsuitable for use within ETICS B.
Shades with luminosity down to 10 is possible by using reinforcing material CarboNit or CarbonSpachtel.
Luminosity down to 5 is possible within the Capatect Carbon Extra system on mineral fiber boards.
Dark shades within the Capatect Carbon Extra system may require an additional equalizing coat of ThermoSan NQG³ façade paint, due to the contrast ratio between reinforcement layer and finishing render/plaster.
Small quantities can be tinted with CaparolColor or Amphibolin colourants (max. 2 % to avoid low consistency).

Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be even, clean, dry, solid, sound and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. In Germany follow VOB, part C, DIN 18 363, paragraph 3. Remove unsound coatings of enamels, emulsion paints, synthetic renders/plasters and unsound mineral paint coatings completely. Clean adherent paint coatings dry or wet.
Clean surfaces infested with organic growth (mould, moss, algae) with a high-pressure water jet in compliance with the regulations. Then treat the surface with Capatox and allow to dry thoroughly. Clean surfaces contaminated with industrial gases or soot by high-pressure cleaner and suitable cleaning agent, in compliance with the regulations.
Method of Application
Apply all textured render with a stainless steel trowel or suitable spraying equipment homogeneously to surface sections. Rub off immediately to the grain size and take off excessive slurry. Treat the K-type render evenly with a plastic trowel, PU- or EPS-board by circularly "ironing". Groove the R-type render horizontally, vertically or circularly with a plastic trowel as desired.
The surface roughness is influenced by the chosen tool, hence always the same type of texturing tool should be used. For spray application the nozzle size depends on particle sizes. Working pressure: 0.3 to 0.4 MPa (3 to 4 bar).
Apply thoroughly an homogenious layer during spray application. Avoid visible overlapping that may be caused by storeys of scaffolding. Always the same craftsmen should finish one part of the surface to achieve an even texture. To avoid lapping on large area surfaces, care should be taken to have a sufficient number of hands/craftsmen on the job and to apply the material wet-on-wet without interruption.
Granules and filler are natural products. It may occasionally cause slight colour variation in the finished coating. Use only material with identical batch number or - if using material from different batches - mix the entire quantity in advance.
Surface Coating System
Putzgrund 610 has to be tinted in the same shade as primer for an colourfull plaster. Allow drying of intermediate coat before further application
Capatect-ETICS:
- New reinforcement layers based on mineral mortars: Prime with Putzgrund 610.
- New cement-free reinforcement layers in white: No priming required.
- All tinted renders (except ETICS OrCa): Prime reinforcement with tinted Putzgrund 610
- Weathered reinforcement layers (e.g. after winter break): Prime with Putzgrund 610.
All other substrates: See Technical Information "Untergründe und deren Vorbehandlung" / "Substrates and their Pretreatment"

Application Conditions
Processing temperature: + 5 °C to approx. 30 °C for material, substrate, water and ambient air during application and curing.
Do not apply in direct sunlight, during strong wind, fog, high relative humidity, and imminent rain or frost.
Drying/Drying Time
At 20 °C and 65% RH: surface-dry after approx. 24 hours.
Cured, recoatable and ready for stress after 2 to 3 days.
The render cures physically by evaporation of water. Drying time is extended by low temperature and high RH. Cover the scaffoldings with tarpaulins to protect the surface from rain during the drying phase.
Tool Cleaning
Immediately after use with water.Material Preparation
Stir ThermoSan Fassadenputz NQG thoroughly with a low-speed stainless steel agitator. If necessary adjust to working consistency with tap (potable) water (max. 1 % if manually applied and max. 2 % for spray application).
Note
Do not apply ThermoSan Fassadenputz NQG (façade render) on horizontal surfaces exposed to rain or moistureSpecial Risks (Hazard Note) / Safety Advice (Status as at Date of Publication)
Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause longterm adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Protect skin and eyes against splashes. After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap. Do not empty into drains, water courses or onto the ground. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately to avoid harm to the intestinal bacteria. Do not breathe spray dust. Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
According to European Regulation 528/2012 this product is defined as a "treated article” (not a biocidal product) and contains the following biocidal substances: Carbendazim (CAS-No. 10605-21-7), Isoproturon (CAS-No. 34123-59-6), Terbutryn (CAS-No. 886-50-0), 2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-on (CAS-No. 26530-20-1).
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.
In Germany: Only completely emptied containers should be given for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid material as remnants of water-based paints and dried material as hardened paints waste or via domestic waste.
