Tinted facade paints: Fungizid should only be added, when the material is fully tinted and thoroughly mixed.

Surface Coating System

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for processing of the corresponding facade paint, when Fungizid is added. Remove existing fungi (mildew/mould) and algae growth on exterior surfaces thoroughly by water-jet, in compliance with the regulations. Pretreat cleaned surfaces with Capatox or FungiGrund and allow to dry well.
Always apply two coats of materials with active agent content.

750 ml of Fungizid per 12.5 l bucket.
This complies with approx. 9 ml/m2 of Fungizid. Applied quantity: approx. 150 ml/m2 per coat.

Application Conditions

Low Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:
+ 5 °C for product, substrate and ambient air.

Fungizid is a product provided with special active agents, effective against fungicidal (mould build-up) & algicidal/algae growth on facades.
The agent content provides a long lasting, but only temporary protection, with a time limit depending on special conditions/loads on site, e.g. intensity of attack and moisture stress. Hence a durable protection against fungi and algae growth is impossible.
