Field of Application
White-pigmented, adhesion-promoting and solidifying priming paint. Particularly suitable for exterior substrates with chalking but adherent existing coatings as well as for stripped surfaces, that are going to be coated with Duparol as finishing coat.
Other finishing coats are possible, but must be checked for compatibility on site.
Not suitable for polystyrene boards or ETIC/EWI systems with polystyrene insulation material.

Suitable Substrates
The substrate must be stable, dry/cured, clean, and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. In Germany: Follow VOB, part C, DIN 18363, section 3.Substrate Preparation

Apply with solvent-resistant coating tools.
Thinning
Product is only to be diluted with Dupa-grund.Surface Coating System
Dilute Dupa-Haftgrund up to a max. of 20 % with Dupa-grund for use on highly absorbent substrates. On compact, non-absorbing substrates dilute up to a max. of 10 % with Dupa-grund.Consumption
Approx. 180 - 220 ml/m2 on an even surface, according to substrate condition. On rough-textured substrates correspondingly more.Application Conditions
Lower Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:The product is applicable even in frosty conditions, provided that the substrate is dry and ice-free.
Drying/Drying Time
At +20 °C and 65 % relative humidity coatable after approx. 12 hours. Lower temperature and higher humidity extend the drying time.Tools
Only use solvent-resistant paint brushes or rollers, to achieve good priming results.Tool Cleaning
Clean tools with nitro-cellulose combination thinner.Note

Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye damage. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not breathe dust/ fume/ gas/ mist/ vapours/ spray. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. IF SWALLOWED: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician if you feel unwell. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN: Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical advice/ attention. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. In Germany: Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.

of this product (category A/h): max. 750 g/l (2010). This product contains max. 750 g/l VOC.
