DisboCRET 507 1K-Schnellreparaturmörtel mit integriertem Korrosionsschutz
Multi-functional, quick-setting (curing) repair mortar with active corrosion protection, used for reprofiling concrete in one-coat application. No anticorrosive coating and adhesion promoting grip coat required. Layer thickness: 3 - 40 mm.
Field of Application
For reprofiling defects in reinforced concrete (ferroconcrete) without applying a corrosion protection and adhesion promoting grip coat. Reinforcing steel rods must be covered with minimum 1 cm of sound concrete or -if less than 1 cm- Disbocret® 502 Protec plus must be applied as an anticorrosion coating. Subsequently a Disbocret® protection system including (at least partial) filler/surfacer application or External Wall Insulation (EWI) / External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) must be applied.Material Properties

> 1.5 N/mm2Suitable Substrates
Reinforcing steel, normal and heavy concrete. The average adhesive tensile strength of substrates must be 1.5 N/mm2, with a minimum individual value of 1.0 N/mm2.
Substrate Preparation
Derust reinforcing steel according to industry standard DIN EN ISO 12944-4 (replacement of DIN 55 928, part 4) or ISO 8501-1 up to degree of surface preparation Sa 2 1/2. Derusted steel must be dry and free of dust, oils and fats/greases.
Concrete must be sound, clean and free from loose or brittle parts. Substances preventing adhesion, e.g. existing paint coatings, oil, grease/fat, etc., must be removed by suitable method.
Substrates (hardened cement paste) must be free from corrosive substances, e.g. chlorides, and removed where required to guarantee proper adhesion of MultiTecMortar on the treated surface. The edges of repaired areas must be chamfered between 45-60°. Substrates must be pre-wetted. Care must be taken to ensure that most of the moisture has been absorbed before the MultiTecMortar is applied (flat surface aspect).
Preparation of Material
The contents of a 25 kg bag of Disbocret® 507 MultiTec-Mortar is gradually mixed into 3.25 lit. of tap (potable) water and agitated with a suitable slow-speed electrical paddle (max. 400 rpm) until the mixture is homogeneous and free of lumps.Mixing Ratio
Dry Mortar | Water |
1 part by weight | 0.13 parts by weight |
25 kg bag | 3.25 lit. of tap water |
Method of Application
Apply the MultiTec-Mortar with trowel or putty knife/scraper/spatula, blending (pressing onto it) on the substrate. An initial thin-layered application is recommended to promote sufficient wetting of the substrate. Reprofile deeper spalling in layers. Do not pre-wet the surface for felt treatment.
Quick drying, caused by sunlight, high temperatures and draught (draft) must be prevented by suitable protective measures or after-treatment. A prematurely applied surfacer serves as an after-treatment of the MultiTec-Mortar. Varying drying conditions may cause discolouration (not diminishing the technical properties). Formwork must be handled according to state-of-the-art technology.
Layer Thickness
Min. 3 mm, max. 40 mm. Higher layer thickness can be achieved by multilayered application.Consumption

Special Risks (Hazard Note) / Safety Advice (Status as at Date of Publication)
Irritating to skin. Risk of serious damage to eyes.Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. In case of swallowing seek medical advice immediately and show the packaging or label.
Disposal
Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be paid to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures. In Germany: Only completely emptied bags and containers should be given for recycling. Dispose hardened material residues mixed construction and demolition site waste.Giscode

CE Labelling
EN 1504-3CE labelling is based on EN 1504-3 "Products and systems for protection and repair of concrete load bearing structures – Part 3: Statically and not statically relevant repair”, defining the requirements for the repair products.
Products matching the above mentioned standards are to be labelled with the CE mark. Additional engineer standards are effective for the use in Germany in structural safety relevant areas. Conformity is documented by the Ü sign (Überwachung = supervision) on the container. Established by documented evidence of conformity 2+ with controls and tests on the part of the manufacturer and notified bodys.
