Suitable Substrates
Wood flooring, parquet, oriented strand boards (OSB), stairs and other wooden surfaces, cork-layer flooring, prefinished wood parquet (engineered wooden floor) and lacquered or glazed surfaces. The substrate must be clean, sound/stable, dry, and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. Do not use on water-soluble wood stain. Essential: Check existing coatings for adhesion and verify their compatibility by a trial coating on site.Substrate Preparation
Clean and sand the surface to be coated thoroughly. Grind away existing parquet varnish completely. Sand the surface of existing enamel and glaze/scumble coatings, e.g. with a suitable scouring pad (abrasive web made of nonwoven material).Method of Application
Stir up the material before use. For the first coat the product can be thinned to a max. of 20 % with tap (potable) water, if necessary. The enamel varnish is evenly applied by brush, sealer brush or roller.
Apply 2 - 3 coats on untreated wooden substrates, depending on the absorbency. Apply 3 - 4 coats on OSB boards. Apply 1 finishing coat on prefinished wood parquet and lacquered surfaces.
Consumption
Approx. 100 - 150 ml/m2 per coat, depending on surface texture and substrate absorbency.Application Conditions
Lower Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:Min. 12 °C for product, substrate and ambient air.
Relative humidity must not exceed 70 %.
Drying/Drying Time
At 20 °C and 65 % relative humidity: Can be sanded and recoated after approx. 12 hours. Ready for stress after approx. 24 - 36 hours. Initial cleaning with water and mild cleaning agent (detergent) and laying of carpeting is allowed after 1 week.Tool Cleaning

Cleaning and Care:
Clean Capadur Parkett- und SiegelLack with hair broom or vacuum cleaner. Remove soiling by a wet cleaning (floor) cloth. A conventional household detergent, suitable for synthetic flooring, can be used as mop water additive. Follow the instructions given by the detergent manufacturer.
Do not use scouring agents (scrubbing cleansers) and solvents. Areas subjected to extremely high soiling, e.g. halls, front doors, etc., should be provided with dust-capturing mats. Provide furniture feet with felt pads and use soft chair wheels. Ideally a protective base (mat) should be placed under office chairs.

Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.In Germany: Only completely emptied containers should be given for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.
