Drying management is at the core of the NQG3 technology for fast-drying facades and clearly reduced algae and fungal infestation.
In order to provide a detailed documentation of the drying behaviour, an extensive series of measurements with comparative tests with standard high-quality facade paints were conducted. The specially developed measurement and test processes in the laboratory confirm that NQG3 paints verifiably dry at a faster speed following intense wetting than comparative facade paints.
In addition to the measurements of smaller samples conducted in the laboratory, extensive tests are conducted on large facade surfaces. The initial results confirm this as well. In the case of larger facade samples, the difference in drying behaviour is clearly evident.
Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF shall be commissioned to examine all the test results. An official certification as scientific study has been applied for.
