Dr. Murjahn Advancement Award

The corporate group is particularly keen on supporting quality and services in the painting trade – not only through excellent products, but also at other levels. Accordingly, the Dr. Murjahn Advancement Award will be awarded for the first time, an award created by Dr. Klaus Murjahn to mark his 75th birthday. The award was born of the wish to express gratitude to the painting trade for long years of successful co-operation and to also offer the painting trade a platform for making the wider public more aware of the excellent craftsmanship that is being produced.

The Advancement Award is endowed with 50,000 euros, it can be divided amongst several winners and is to be awarded annually. Companies and individuals as well as training establishments are eligible if they have attracted attention with innovative ideas for the painting and enamelling trade – after all good ideas provide ground-breaking impetus to the whole painting and enamelling trade. 

Applications are possible in various categories:

• Innovations and technical solutions
• Operational management
• Apprenticeships and on-going training
• Paint and design
• Other initiatives in the painting and enamelling trade

In addition the Advancement Award can be given for other initiatives in the painting and enamelling trade, for example for special social commitment.
