Suitable Substrates

Smooth surface treatment (smoothing) techniques, such as StuccoDecor Di Luce, Calcino Romantico or Stucco Satinato.

Preparation of Material

The product is ready-to-use in order to protect filler treated surfaces.
The use of effect pigments is only suitable on StuccoDecor Di Luce and Stucco Satinato. Therefore mix the desired amount of effect pigments with StuccoDecor Wachsdispersion. Stir very thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous mixture.
Please consider a temporarily risk of dust formation, thus the effect pigments should be stirred in two procedures, if a higher amount must be added to the wax. 

Method of Application

Allow surfaces to sufficiently cure for at least 2 days and do not impregnate to obtain a thoroughly dry surface. Premature reworking may lead to discolouration.
Apply undiluted product sparingly to the full surface using a double-sided paint scraper and remove all excess material directly with the scraper. Allow to dry and then brighten the surface with a soft cloth, if necessary (do not use polishers).
If a mixture of effect pigments and wax is used, always work wet-on-wet to avoid lapping.

Consumption

• On StuccoDecor Di Luce: approx. 10 g/m²
• On Stucco Satinato: approx. 30 g/m²
• On CalcinoRomantico: approx. 60 g/m²

Workability

Approx. 15 - 20 minutes, depending on the conditions on site.

Application Conditions

Lower temperature limit for application and drying: +10 °C for ambient air and substrate.
Use only such a quantity of product that can be applied within the given workability time. Do not use any slightly skin-dried material. 

Drying/Drying Time

At +20 °C and 65 % relative humidity surface-dry after approx. 12 hours. Thoroughly dry (cured) and ready for stress after approx. 3 days.

Tools

Double-bladed paint scraper (double-edge scraper)

Tool Cleaning

Immediately after use with water and soap.
Always take care to use only clean tools for application.

Check for compatibility before applying the product on other filling techniques.

Cleaning and Maintenance

StuccoDecor Wachsdispersion offers no protection against direct splashing water or soiling caused by substances with content of fat/grease, acids, tar, caffeine/theine and discolouring substances that leave marks. The surface is cleanable with warm water, adding a neutral detergent, if necessary, to remove slight soiling. Cleaning/detergents should always be checked for compatibility by trials on a test area.

Flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye irritation. Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Do not breathe vapours/ spray. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid release to the environment. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting

Disposal

Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.
Germany: Only completely empty cans/containers should be handed in for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.
