    Suitable for high-grade intermediate and finishing coats on primed, dimensionally stable wood component parts, primed metals and unplasticized/rigid PVC, outdoors and indoors. Particularly suitable for nearly mist-free spray application, when using the Caparol Frontend nozzle and spraying equipment as follows:

    Please note:
    Do not use on heating systems to avoid yellowing (use Capacryl Heizkörperlack instead).

    Suitable Substrates

    Primed, dimensionally stable wood component parts, primed metals and unplasticized/rigid PVC.
    The substrate must be clean, sound/stable, dry and free from all substances that may prevent good adhesion. Maximum permissible moisture content in dimensionally stable wood (WMC): 13 %.

    Substrate Preparation

    Roughening and cleaning the primered surface.

    Method of Application

    Capacryl PU-Satin NAST has been developed for use with the below mentioned special equipment to ensure a nearly mist-free spray application. The product cannot be applied via paint brush or roller.
    Capacryl PU-Satin NAST is adjusted for use with the mentioned spray equipment and special nozzle Caparol NAST-Frontend. Only this combination of material and equipment enable a nearly mist-free spray application.

    Do not heat the product when spraying with Wagner XVLP FinishControl 6500 TS!
     
    Spray Technique: 

    Adjustment for coating surfaces: "Flachstrahl" (flat jet). Spray slowly lengthwise with an overlap of min. 50 % and in a spray distance of 15 cm, applying wet-on-wet.
    Do not apply cross-coats! 
    Allow to dry and apply a second coat in the same manner, if necessary.

    1) Always apply Capacryl Holz-IsoGrund on wood containing water-soluble, discolouring substances (2x on knots).

    2) Colour shades of low opacity (e.g. yellow/red/orange pigmented) may require an additional coat.
    Note: Adhesion must always be tested in advance for powder coatings, coil coatings and other critical substrates by trials (coating a test area on site).

    Consumption

    Approx. 120 - 160 ml/m2 per coat.
    Consumption is a guide value and may vary, depending on substrate requirements. Determine the exact amount of material required by coating a test area on site.

    Application Conditions

    Low Temperature Limit for Application and Drying:
    Min. 8 °C for product, substrate and ambient air.
    Relative humidity must not exceed 70 %.

    May cause an allergic skin reaction. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear protective gloves/ eye protection. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
    Contains: 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one, 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one [EC no. 247-500-7] and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one [EC no. 220-239-6] (3:1). mixture of: 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1) < 15 ppm.

    Disposal

    Materials and all related packaging must be disposed of in a safe way in accordance with the full requirements of the local authorities. Particular attention should be made to removing wastage from site in compliance with standard construction site procedures.
    Germany: Only completely empty containers should be handed in for recycling. Dispose containers with residues of liquid product via waste collection point accepting old paints and enamels. Dispose dried/hardened product residues as construction site/demolition/municipal or domestic waste.

    of this product (category A/d): max. 130 g/l (2010). This product contains max. 130 g/l VOC.
