These are generally a combination of high room humidity, ambient temperature and availability of nutrients. If there are no constructional defects, such as thermal bridges, unsealed roofs or cracked walls, often inadequate or incorrect ventilation of the rooms is the reason for the
mould growth. Once the cause of the mould growth is clear, proper renovation must be started promptly.
